THE NEW ADVENTURES OF THE TWINNIES AROUND THE WORLD

eTwinning project: a story written by the pupils of all participants of the project - partner schools from different countries in Europe. Each school is going to write a part of the story set in its own country. Twinnie Yellow and Twinnie Blue - the main characters - are going to visit famous places, eat traditional dishes, play traditional games etc. Then all parts are going to be joined together and printed out in a form of a comic book.

NATIONAL PRIZE 2011 - FRANCE

Remise de prix du concours national eTwinning 2011
Cet événement, organisé pour récompenser les projets lauréats, s'est déroulé le 14 décembre dernier. Félicitations aux élèves et aux équipes éducatives des différents pays !

La remise des prix du concours national eTwinning s’est déroulée le 14 décembre au ministère de l’éducation nationale, de la jeunesse et de la vie associative à Paris. Les lauréats des différentes catégories ont présenté leur projet et reçu leur diplôme. Félicitations aux 9 classes lauréates qui remportent des lots de matériels leur permettant de développer leurs projets d’échange à distance.

Ce concours récompense les productions collaboratives réalisées dans le cadre de projets eTwinning.

Last Wednesday, we and our teacher (miss Grapton) fetched our prize in Paris. There was a lot of people and it was very stressful for us to speak to this assembly!

We were very proud to present our project and we didn't forget to say how much we had been delighted to work with you.

This project is a very beautiful example of pedagogy of project, where the children learn to discover the world, to work in cooperation, to speak English, by making two children of papers travel, Twinnies. The English pupils have begun to look at Asia and the many countries that there are in that continent. Some of us have family who live there, and some of us have visited some of the countries to visit family or for a holiday. Our next step is to decide what attractions to visit in the different countries, and what adventures the Twinnies should have whilst they are there.

French pupils worked hard to show you the famous African adventures of the twinnies.

The twinnies visited a lot of African countries

They visited some famous places like the pyramids (in Egypt) or the Kilimandjaro (in Tanzania)

The twinnies met a lot of people (some of them ars very famous like Nelson Mandela in South Africa and the others one are very common persons.)

The twinnies wanted also to help some african people. They organized in all partners contries' a big charitable operation to buy food and medicine for the Somalian people and some books for the Burkinian Faso pupils'.

While waiting for discover the complete adventures of the Twinnies in Africa, we propose you some of our drawings.

They ride a camel with the berberes in Algeria.

The yellow twinnie had got a new friend in Burkina Faso.

They visited the famous pyramids but they were afraid of the mummy!

They had some problems with African animals in Tanzania!

We started our new stories of twinnies.

Step 1 : We looked for on internet and on books which are the famous place in Africa
